About the wine
The winery is located about 15 kilometers from the World Heritage city of Evora. From 1998, the von Blanckart family built up the estate before it became the property of the French Pinault wine family. Under the direction of Eduardo Cardeal |, the vineyard area is being carefully expanded and the range is constantly being adapted to growing national and international quality requirements. German wine specialist Carsten Heinemeyer acts as consultant.

Tasting note
Intense aroma of red fruits and spices, presents ripe and silky tannins, good acidity and very persistent.
Vinification
Hand-picked grapes. The wine is then macerated for 10 days followed by temperature-controlled fermentation. 50% of the batch was aged in used French oak barrels for 12 months.
