Tasting note
Description: Calabrise is an autochthonous grape variety from southern Calabria. The correct “handling” of this ancient grape variety is not very easy & yet, after many efforts, Ippolito has achieved true mastery in this regard. The “Calabrise” is an expression of the Ippolito family's deep ties to the countryside and nature. On the palate, red fruits, plum scent, amarena, spicy notes of pepper; soft tannins, harmonious.

Goes well with spicy dishes, sausages, meats and stews.
