About the wine
In 1934, the Italian immigrant Pietro de Martino bought several hectares of vineyards in the Maipo Valley. In doing so, he continued an old family tradition from Viganello. Oenologist Marcelo Retamal travels to various countries once a year to become familiar with local wine production and the latest developments and trends. De Martino wines are today characterized by the intensity of the fruit aroma and pleasant tannins. The wines made from rootless vines, which are marketed under the “Ungrafted” label, are also a special feature.

Culinary recommendation
Suitable for beef, grilled meat and Châteaubriand.
Vinification
Temperature controlled fermentation. It is then aged for 12 months in French barriques.
