About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Maculan is absolutely proficient in his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the enchanting and fertile countryside of Veneto. Tasting note
Ruby red with garnet reflections. Distinctive, very multi-faceted bouquet of dark ripe fruits, cassis and nuances of fine spices and violets. The fruity taste is full-bodied and soft, the aftertaste is long-lasting.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with stews, Mediterranean cuisine, barbecues, pasta.
Vinification
Manual selection of grapes, fermentation in stainless steel with eight days of maceration, frequent cutting. The wine is stored in French oak barrels for one year, half of them new, the other half as a second passage.
