About the wine
The Prelius winery, located on the Maremma plain just 4 km from the sea, takes its name from the old Roman name of the nearby coastal lake Prile. Here, Federica Masceroni Stianti from the Castello di Volpaia winegrowing family uses organic methods with great care and passion to produce elegant, Mediterranean-inspired wines on 12 hectares. Thanks to the unique terroir - sandy sedimentary soils at just 30 to 50 m above sea level - and the typical microclimate with mild winters and hot summers, the vines ripen perfectly and produce smooth, aromatic and fruity wines. et fruité.

Tasting note
A light garnet red wine with a subtle bouquet of ripe wild berries, plus some peppery notes. Fruity and spicy on the palate, wonderfully fresh, with strong tannins and a very soft, round and harmonious structure, rounded off by a pleasantly persistent finish.
