Tasting note
Deep ruby red. On the nose, aromas of blackcurrants, plums and green peppers, complemented by delicate herbal and pepper notes. Strong and structured on the palate, with ripe tannins, well-integrated acidity and a long, spicy finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, lamb, game dishes, aged hard cheese
Vinification
Traditional mash fermentation, followed by aging in barriques and large wooden barrels for around 12 months.
