About the wine
With the dominant Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 — Aagne Cabernet - Merlot, you can offer your family and friends something very special. Nature in Schaffhausen can be described in such words as hilly. However, the Swiss winery Stefan Gysel is trying to express the beauty of his homeland with this red wine. We think he succeeded! Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Cabernet Sauvignon is excellent to serve with red meat or Gruyère burgers.

Tasting note
The refreshing bouquet of Aagne Cabernet - Merlot of fruit compote, spices and tobacco flirts skillfully with your sense of smell. Afterwards, spicy nuances of black cherry, black plum and black pepper resolutely and consciously convince your senses of taste. A fruity red wine with a strong body and dominant acidity, which develops its individual structure pleasantly with finely developed tannins on the tongue and palate.

Goes well with game dishes, dark meat, roasts, soft to hard cheeses.
