Tasting note
Deep ruby red. On the nose, there is a tempting aroma of dried berries, cherries, pepper and herbs. The taste of this wine is delicious, lively and soft, accompanied by finely balanced tannins and a persistently long finish. Solid aroma and skilfully structured. Apolitico Cabernet Franc 2021 is a dry wine with fascinating characteristics.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with lamb chops with rosemary potatoes or grilled beef steak.
Vinification
With an alcohol content of 13.5% vol. and careful winemaking, which includes manual selection of grapes and a 15-day maceration, this wine is an exciting and complex pleasure experience. The aging takes place over a year in oak and wild cherry barrels, which gives the wine additional depth and complexity.
