About the wine
Since the Renaissance, the Vignamaggio winery has existed in the heart of the Chianti Classico wine region. In addition to the majority of autochthonous grape varieties, the organically certified estate also grows olives, fruits and grains. However, the main focus is on Chianti wines, which are particularly elegant and long-lasting here and therefore have international rénommée.

Tasting note
This Cabernet Franc shows a purple color in the glass, which is interspersed with a touch of purple. On the nose, aromas of ripe berries, accompanied by notes of herbs and peppers. Balanced on the palate, with firm tannin and well-integrated acidity, which brings refreshment and juiciness. Ends in a long, spicy-fruity aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Ideal with beef or lamb, pasta with ragout, hard cheese or game dishes.
Vinification
Aging for 18-24 months in French oak barrels. A further 8 (at least) months in the bottle.
