About the wine

Halfway between Angers and Saumur, in the heart of Anjou, Château de Tigné has withstood the attacks of time for ten centuries. It has always been surrounded by vines, which are part of it. Celestin Port noted in 1878 in his Loire Valley Dictionary that “Huge vaulted cellars house the harvest of a large vineyard whose red wines are considered to be the best in the region.” In 1989, Gérard Depardieu acquired Château Tigné.
