About the wine
At the beginning of the 90s, Christie and Peter Schulz decided to found their own winery and completed the transition from grape producer to wine producer. They turned the old, historic butcher shop into their Cellar Door and thus the heart of their Turkey Flat wine shop. Success was not long in coming: Today Turkey Flat is one of the best companies in the Barossa Valley.

Tasting note
Deep purple, profound fruit of ripe plums, cassis and dark berries fills the nose. Balanced palate structure of intense fruit, sweet spices and a soft tannin structure. A wine for every occasion and a great accompaniment to food.

Vinification
After selective harvesting, the grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel containers and 12% in large wooden barrels. After gentle pressing, each wine is aged separately in barriques for 12 months and is then cut before being sold.
