About the wine
Love for nature and the cultural heritage of wine drives the Hundsdorfer family to obtain optimal starting material for great wines. The aim is to express the terroir of the Neckenmarkt wine mountains in the best possible way in order to create a unique drinking experience. The winery covers 20 hectares of vineyards, which was the first Burgenland company to be rewarded with 3 state winners in one year and several awards.

Tasting note
Deep red with a dark core and purple edge. The scent is beautiful cherry fruit, underlaid with toasty aromas. Harmoniously mild on the palate, with tannins giving a good structure. Soft and round on the aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, game specialties, lasagna and aged cheese.
Vinification
Mash fermentation at 30°C, reassembly daily for 30 days, followed by ageing for 20 months in French oak.
