About the wine
The idea of Bodega y Viñedos Maires was born in 2015 when two cousins joined forces with the aim of resuming the activities of their ancestors and thus to be present in the Toro appellation of origin. Under the name MAIRES, a family nickname that refers to four generations of winemaking, Fernando and Pablo are merging their professions with the dream of bringing about a new way of understanding wine: viticulture and communication #comunicavino.

Tasting note
Deep ruby red. An intense and aromatic nose of dark fruits, beautifully integrated roasted aromas from wood aging and a balsamic twist. On the palate, a powerful and dense wine.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with barbecues, spicy meat dishes, game.
Vinification
Aging in steel tanks, then in new French barriques for 20 months and in the bottle for 1 year. The best barrels are selected for the Reserva.
