About the wine
A man with big hands and an even bigger heart: Filippo Fanti is an icon in the Brunello region. The long-standing president of the Consorzio del Brunello is not only extremely popular, he also makes a wonderful Brunello di Montalcino that reflects his soul: warm-hearted, honest and with the optimal balance between tradition and modernity. The new winery, completed in 2004, is built underground in a hill opposite the Abbazzia di Sant'Antimo monastery church and symbolizes Filippo's faith in the future of Tenuta Fanti. Fortunately, the succession has already been secured with the extremely competent daughter Elisa.

Tasting note
Brilliant ruby red Elegant on the nose, aromas of plums and sour cherry compote, fine roasted aromas. Strong tannins on the palate, dried fruit. Long, elegant and precise on the aftertaste. It goes great with game dishes!
