About the wine
The Capanna farm, owned by the Cencioni family since 1957, is located north of Montalcino in the Montosoli area. The area covered with vines is around 12 ha, while a further 11 ha bear olive trees. The excellent location produces full-bodied and finesse wines. All Capanna wines are made exclusively from grapes from our own vineyards. A riserva must be stored for 5 years (including 4 1/2 years in barrels) before it can be bottled.
Tasting note
Clear ruby. Strawberries, cherries and plum compote in the bouquet. Round on the palate, very fruity with spicy fullness.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fried red meat, game and aged cheeses.
