About the wine
Brunello di Montalcino was largely created by Clemente Santi and his nephew Ferruccio Biondi Santi, who began vinifying single-varietal wines in barrel in Montalcino at the end of the 19th century. To this day, Brunello by Biondi-Santi is produced with the utmost care, outstanding craftsmanship and a great deal of patience. It ages in oak barrels for three years and then in the bottle for several years before leaving the winery.

Culinary recommendation
We suggest serving this wine with stews such as lamb gigot or tagliata. It is also great with venison stew, roast beef with mushrooms and ripe pecorino.
