About the wine
The Veronese Allegrini family has made considerable investments in San Polo and runs the boutique wine estate with immense commitment. The gentle hilly landscape in southern Tuscany is characterized by untouched, original nature and a climate that allows the vines to thrive excellently. The vines are old and are cultivated with great care.

Tasting note
Garnet red with a slightly brightened edge. A fantastic Brunello bouquet that is lush and multi-faceted: rich in red fruits, soft spices, bread crust tones and a touch of suede. On the palate, there is an impressive explosivity paired with lots of velvety and expressiveness, accompanied by raspberries and cherries, mocca and nougat, underpinned by velvety tannins. The characteristic freshness flows into the long, precisely composed and fine-mineral finale.
Culinary recommendation
Wines to celebrate and enjoy, whether at a festive table or in front of the fireplace. Ripe wines with fine finesse go best with light dishes. With concentrated, young wines, on the other hand, the cuisine can be a bit more rich.
