About the wine

Ciacci Piccolomini is located in the hamlet of Castelnuovo del Abate, in the province of Siena. Paolo Bianchini, a member of the owner family, runs the farm, which comprises around 200 hectares, of which 35 vineyards, 40 olive groves and the rest is sowing and grazing land. The vines grow on rocky soil on the slopes of the Orcia River, which creates a particularly mild microclimate on the surrounding hills. The goal of producing valuable and healthy grapes in the vineyard is achieved by combining tradition and the latest technology, which at the same time gives the wines a modern character and timeliness.
