“Campo Marzio was a war field in ancient Rome and the scene for many major war preparations. The Cru location “Campo Marzio” is Corte Pavone's little warrior, the vineyard with the oldest vines (over 60 years old) and the most vintages - so the wine also has the longest breath.”

Das bleibt im Gedächtnis: Sein edles Rubinrot verleiht jedem Anlass eine besondere Note. Die würzigen Aromen des Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Campo Marzio von schwarzem Pfeffer, Gewürzen und Tabak drücken viel Finesse mit einer ganz besonderen Struktur aus. Als Nächstes zeigen die verspielten Nuancen von roter Pflaume, Erdbeere und Feige ihren eigenen Charakter. Mit markant-satten Gerbstoffen, kräftigem Körper und hervorstechender Säure zeigt dieser Rotwein seine makellose Beschaffenheit. Dieser Top-Wein bekam den Preis: Robert Parker: 96/100.

Hand harvest with selection, fermentation in stainless steel tanks, half of the wine aging for 12 months in used tonneau, half of the wine aging for 12 months in used large wooden barrels, refinement for 12 months in concrete tanks and 12 months in stainless steel tanks
