Tasting note
Characterful Sangiovese from Maremma with intense aromas. On the nose, aromas of ripe cherries, wild berries, some tobacco and fine spices. Powerful, structured and yet elegant on the palate with ripe fruit, present, well-integrated tannins and a long, harmonious finish.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with grilled meat, stews, game, lamb or ripe pecorino.
Vinification
Traditional mash fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by 12 months aging in French barriques and large wooden barrels.
