About the wine
At the end of the 1980s, the Benito Hernando brothers Fernando, Gaspar and Javier set out to restore from scratch the 40 hectares of vineyards taken over by their parents, with vineyards in Curiel de Duero, Pesquera, Peñafiel and Fompedraza and the bodega, in order to realize their vision of high-quality wines. On their vineyards, you can find many vines over 60 years old, which guarantee high grape quality with low yields. They form the basis for exceptional wines such as the Fiel, which has also been compared to Château Margaux.

Tasting note
The fruity aromas of Briego Crianza Ribera del Duero DO of black cherry, chocolate and cooked blackberry express a lot of finesse with a very individual structure. Afterwards, the fruity nuances of prunes, cloves and marmalade show their own character. A fruity red wine with a strong body and rich acidity, which pleasantly develops its individual structure with finely developed tannins on the tongue and on the palate.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with red meat, beef, lamb, braised roast, spicy semi-hard cheese and hard cheese.
