About the wine
New! Maison Champy was founded in 1720 and is therefore the oldest winery in Burgundy. Located in the heart of the historic town of Beaune, Maison Champy is internationally known for the outstanding quality of its Grand Crus of the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune. In order to preserve the vineyards and exceptional terroirs, the winery is converting to organic farming.

Vinification
Traditional aging in 100% oak barrels. 10 months in used oak barrels and 30% of them in new oak barrels.
