About the wine
With the special Bourgogne AOC Cuvée des Forgets from 2018, you will positively surprise your guests. The loamy, slate soils in Burgundy offer the winemaker from the French winery Patrick Javillier everything he needs to live out his craft and produce a wine for discerning connoisseurs.

Tasting note
The Cuvée des Forgets is made from Chardonnay grapes from many individual plots from Meursault, which are all planted with old vines, over 25 years old on average. Immediately after harvesting and pressing the grapes, the must is fermented in partly new, partly used barriques. The wine is only bottled after 15 to 18 months. It is extremely fresh and characterized by fruity and fine-floral notes. On the palate, an invigorating acidity plays with a juicy melt.
