Tasting note
On the nose, there are complex aromas of red berries, some cherry and fine roasted aromas. The palate is characterized by a soft, velvety start, an elegant structure and wonderfully harmonious, fine-grained tannin.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef — from steaks to stroganoff to tartare or slow-cooked roast from the oven.
Vinification
After careful handpicking, the grapes go through cold maceration before fermentation begins. The alcoholic fermentation takes 10 to 15 days before the mash is pressed and the young wine is moved to barrique aging. The aging in barriques takes 16 to 20 months.
