About the wine
Broad and clear on the nose, with notes of cinnamon, mauberries, blueberries, hot peppers, cocoa and licorice. Very harmonious on the palate, with a complex structure. The finish is long-lasting with pleasant notes of jam.

Das verspielte Bouquet des Bolgheri DOC Rosso von Fruchtkompott, Gewürzen und Tabak zeigt komplexen Aromacharakter und viel Finesse. Die dominanten Noten von schwarzer Kirsche, schwarzer Pflaume und schwarzem Pfeffer gestalten ihre individuelle Textur. Mit verhalten fein ausgebauten Tanninen, kräftigem Körper und dominanter Säure zeigt dieser fruchtige Rotwein seine einwandfreie Struktur.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with meat dishes, pasta (lasagna), cheese.
Vinification
Traditional mash fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for 12-14 months, 50% new and 50% second-used. The wine is then left to rest in the bottle for an additional 6 months.
