Tasting note
The Terroir de Zinio 200 is medium ruby red in the glass. The nose is dominated by a pronounced intensity of red and black fruits, which are enriched by a touch of white pepper and spices. On the palate, there is a velvety texture which is balanced and gives a pleasant mouthfeel. The fruity character remains present and is accompanied by a refreshing note. The finish shows a harmonious balance that rounds off the enjoyment of this wine.
Culinary recommendation
Ideal with Iberian ham, pasta, grilled meat or vegetables and especially with local potato dishes in Rioja.
Vinification
Tempranillo and Graciano are vinified and aged separately. The alcoholic fermentation took place over 7 days at a controlled temperature. After spontaneous malolactic fermentation, they are aged separately: 50% in toasted barrels and the rest in stainless steel tanks. After blending, the wine aged in the bottle for a further three months.
