Tasting note
On the nose, there is a complex bouquet of ripe plums and cherries, blackberry jam and fine roasted aromas. On the palate, Prestigio shows a lot of pressure and depth, the tannins are present and give the wine a long-lasting, powerful finish.
Culinary recommendation
The Cyan Prestigio is a sensational companion to cheese and sausages. A wine that goes well with roasts, meat stews, lamb or oxtail. It is sensational in combination with Iberian sausages made from acorn fattening.
Vinification
The Tinta de Toro grapes come from 60-year-old vines and are carefully harvested by hand. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 18 months in slightly toasted French and American oak barrels and then aged in the bottle for almost two years before being sold.
