About the wine
Gerhard and Brigitte Pittnauer, also known as Pittis, cultivate approx. 20 ha of vines (95% red and 5% white) around the municipality of Gols in Burgenland. Gerhard took over the company from his parents in the early 90s and, in just a few years, has managed to turn the company from a small no-name company into one of the region's up-and-coming producers. The Pittis have a creative approach to viticulture and its products.

Tasting note
Amber yellow with greenish reflections. Smooth and accessible. Fine nutmeg and good spice, irresistibly tasty. A lovely aromatic entry-level in the world of orange wines.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fried zander from Lake Neusiedl or fish stew.
