Tasting note
The aromas of spicy herbs express a lot of finesse with a very special structure. Afterwards, the fruity nuances of wild berries, red cherries and red currants show their own character. With subdued, finely developed tannins, heavy body and distinctive acidity, this red wine presents its flawless structure.
Culinary recommendation
Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Goes well with pasta with porcini mushrooms, lamb and veal tenderloin. Our recommendation: Enjoy this red wine at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: now until 2016.
Vinification
The vinification took place as follows: Aged for 8 months in large wooden barrels.
