About the wine
You will certainly enjoy the fine Blaufrankisch Hochacker, which was produced in 2013. The winemaker from the Austrian winery Kerschbaum has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and refinement are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the picturesque landscape of Burgenland.

Tasting note
Hochäcker is an excellent, south-facing, secluded location. A pure Blaufränkisch. Fresh cherries on the nose, a hint of wild berries, delicate orange zest, some nougat. Medium complexity, dark berries, fine tannins, persists, good freshness. It goes well with terrines and cheese.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with veal, poultry, vegetables and terrines.
Vinification
Aged for around 15 months in large oak barrels.
