About the wine

In addition to the Klingen and Riedhof locations in Zurich, excellent grapes are brought to Höngg every autumn from our own vineyards in Regensberg, Otelfingen, Stäfa and Remigen AG as well as from friendly regional winegrowers, where city winemaker Urs Zweifel presses with the latest know-how and cutting-edge technology and has made it among the 100 best Swiss winemakers (Vinum).

Tasting note
A berry-fruity, fragrant, light and tasty wine. Aromatic and soft with a subtle, seductive sweetness at the start and refreshing, fine acidity on the finish.

Goes well with aperitif, Asian dishes
Vinification
The red grapes are pressed immediately after de-straining and then pressed and aged like white wine in stainless steel tanks.
