Tasting note
Fresh nose, with aromas of citrus fruits, yellow plums, star fruit and some apricot, plus a touch of peach mousse and fine mineral chalk notes. On the palate, showing crisp freshness, yet elegant, with good extract and mineral chalk notes and subtle saltiness in the finale.
Culinary recommendation
Wonderful as an aperitif and a great accompaniment to oysters and other mussels, as well as various fish dishes.
Vinification
The grapes for this single-varietal Chardonnay come from both Bouzy and the 1er Cru community of Grauves in the Côte des Blancs. The basis of around 85% is the 2022 vintage, the rest is 2021 and 2020. Expanded without BSA, for the most part in steel tanks, with a small proportion of 350 liter wooden barrels.
