Tasting note
On the nose, notes of vanilla, caramel and soft wood nuances develop. On the palate, the rum has a pleasant sweetness, accompanied by light spicy notes and a hint of dried fruit. The aftertaste is soft, long and slightly spicy.
Culinary recommendation
Ideal as a base for cocktails such as Cuba Libre or Rum Old Fashioned, but also a treat on its own or on ice. Goes well with dark chocolate and caramelized nuts.
Vinification
Made by distilling molasses and aged in American oak barrels that previously contained bourbon. This aging gives the rum its complex and balanced aromas.
