The “Altos de Losada” is a blend of various plots of old Mencia vines located in the village of Valtuille de Arriba. There, they are rooted deep in slate and clay soils. Thanks to the aging in large wooden barrels, this first-class mencia brings out the terroir in the form of dark fruit and an almost floral freshness. Spicy aromas also add complexity.
