About the wine
Neo-Rioja par excellence! Bideona shows the new style of Rioja and does so with fresh wines that come from old vineyards, which are planted in blended sets — just as the vineyards were created earlier. Bideona cultivates over 300 small plots of exceptional vineyards on the slopes of the Sierra Cantabria, mainly in the municipalities of Villabuena de Álava, Leza, Samaniego, Laguardia, Navaridas and Baños del Ebro. A great project in Rioja that not only shows a terroir style, but also produces some of the highest quality wines in Rioja in a new style. That is exactly what Rioja needs.

Tasting note
Typical Rioja Alavesa! “Sweet & Sour” with red berries and very fine tannins, good juiciness. The Laderas is a typical Rioja Alavesa with aromas of black fruits. It is a 'vino de zona', which means that the grapes come from all over Alavesa. However, the grapes mainly come from the foothills of the Cantabrian Mountains. The average age of the vineyards is around 30 years and are planted in a mixed sentence (Field Blend) and lie at an altitude of 420-600 m. Laderas is translated as' slopes', which refers to the plots on the slopes of the hills. This wine is wonderfully fresh, has strength and roundness at the same time, with a delicate vivacity and a playful style between sweetness and acidity.
Vinification
Aging in stainless steel, concrete and used oak barrels and barrels for 2-3 years.
