Tasting note
The high-altitude vineyards at 420-600 meters above sea level bring a lot of freshness and aromas of fresh red fruits to the wine, while the sunny climate ensures that the tannins are ripe but also structured. This Rioja Alavesa Field Blend is very typical with its focus on black fruits such as black cherries and blackberries, with an integrated spicy and roasted note. The wine is very concentrated and has a lot of depth on the palate. A stony finish makes this wine very complex.
