About the wine
Bideona embodies the new Rioja style with fresh wines from old, mixed vineyards. More than 300 small plots of land on the slopes of the Sierra Cantabria, mainly in Villabuena de Álava, Leza and the surrounding area, are cultivated. The vineyards are on average 50 years old, some from the 1920s to 1940s. Bideona creates terroir-influenced wines of the highest quality and offers Rioja exactly what it needs.

Tasting note
These relatively high vineyards at 420-600 meters above sea level ensure that this Viura Field Blend offers fresh, yellow fruits such as pineapple and peaches and has the typical Viura-like umami flavor. A rich body with integrated, woody aromas results in a very concentrated and deep wine.
Vinification
Aging in a combination of stainless steel, concrete tanks and smaller and used oak barrels.
