Tasting note
Bertinga is the winery's “Grand Vin”. Fewer than 15,000 bottles are produced. The wine embodies the unique characteristics of the terroir of Gaiole in Chianti. The Bertinga shows aromas of dark fruits, minerality, and cement undertones. The tannins are supple and well integrated. Bodied and strong. Extremely long and soft

Vinification
Fermented in concrete tanks, aged for 18 months in French barriques and Austrian tonneaux. Only 10% new wood.
