About the wine
Mas d’en Gil is a family winery in Priorat, one of the leading wineries in this exceptional region. In 2008, Marta Rovira took over the management of the farm and initiated important decisions. The mechanical engineer, who used to build airplanes, switched to organic farming and replaced international grapes with local varieties of grapes.

Tasting note
The nose reveals a mix of ripe fruit notes, fresh berry fruit, spices, tobacco and roasted aromas. It is an intense sensory experience that makes you expect a lot. The ripe, velvety tannins, the powerful body and the fruit structure leave a complex yet harmonious impression. The finale is long, consistent and reflects the positive qualities of this drinkable priory, which knows how to convey a lot of pleasure for little money.
