Tasting note
Made from Merlot from the oldest plot of land in the vineyard and a small addition of Cabernet Sauvignon, the characterful wine comes in a deep ruby red robe. The bouquet exudes notes of ripe fruit accompanied by spicy notes of licorice and cocoa. Extremely rich, full-bodied and dense on the palate, with silky tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with red, grilled meats and aged cheeses.
Vinification
18 months in French barriques.
