Tasting note
The wine is deep ruby red. On the nose, aromas of ripe dark fruits, such as plums and blackcurrants, develop, accompanied by notes of cedarwood, spices and a hint of violet. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with fine-grained tannins, fresh acidity and excellent balance. The aftertaste is long and complex, with hints of minerality and chocolate.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with lamb, roast beef, game dishes and aged cheese.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and the wine ages in French oak barrels for 18 to 24 months, giving it depth and structure.
