About the wine

Respect for the terroir, comprehensive knowledge of vineyards and cellars, and a minimum of chemical fertiliser for healthy soils: According to this credo, the approximately five hectares of vineyards are managed in Grand Crus and Premier Crus locations of the family-owned company Louis Latour in Beaune, a trading house founded in 1797. The red wines capture the qualities and subtle aromas of the Pinot Noir grape; they are elegant and impress with a perfect balance of fruit and tannins. Structured, full, balanced white wines reflect the terroir in the power of the Chardonnay grape with beautiful freshness and complex aromas. Many of the great Latour wines impress with their excellent shelf life.

That will be remembered: Its first-class ruby red gives every occasion a special touch. The aromas of the Beaune Perrieres AC 1er Cru of mushrooms and caramel candy express a lot of character with a very individual structure. The fruity nuances of raspberry, cherry and vanilla then reveal their own character. A fruity red wine with a medium-strong body and dominant acidity, which develops its individual structure balanced with finely developed tannins on the tongue and palate.

Our recommendation: Drink this red wine at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. Flaschenpost team tip: Beaune Perrieres AC 1er Cru is ideal with cheese, red meat and duck.
