Tasting note
If you are not aware that Rioja produces world-class white wines in addition to the well-known red wines, you should try the Baynos Blanco de Viura from Bodegas Mauro. The nose shows a lot of complexity with densely interwoven primary and secondary aromas. Apple, lime blossom and a touch of pineapple blend with beautifully integrated notes of hazelnuts and toasted bread. On the palate, with a great balance between creamy body and racy acidity, which gives the wine exceptional precision. The finish is long. The great aging potential is unmistakable.

Goes well with veal, fish, poultry
Vinification
Fermentation takes place with ambient yeasts in French oak barriques. This is followed by a 20-month aging in the same barrels.
