About the wine
Between sea and mountains, on the route that connects Perpignan to the Mediterranean coast, Domaine Lafage is based in a 15th century country house made of old stones. After six generations of winemakers, Jean-Marc and Eliane Lafage, both oenologists, now run the winery. They combine their experience with international technologies with traditional know-how and are supported by a team of 12 highly qualified and motivated employees.

Tasting note
This ruby red cuvée is balanced and fruity. Its powerful bouquet is dominated by notes of ripe wild berries, followed by cherry, plum and sour cherry as well as a hint of vanilla. On the first drink, the wine is slightly sweet, with beautifully present tannins and a harmonious, full-bodied structure. Berries, dried fruits and roasted aromas are rounded off by stone fruit aspects and some spicy attributes (liquorice) as well as a long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled or roasted veal.
