About the wine
Many fans of wine from southern Italy have probably noticed that Primitivos have tended to become sweeter and sweeter in recent years. The trend doesn't suit everyone. That's why Cantina Gadoro winemakers in Manduria are now saying “Basta!” — that's enough! They don't like “confi wines” and deliberately grow their Primitivo less sweet. If you don't want to do without the aroma combination of oriental spices and dark forest berries typical of Primitivo, but can do without residual sweetness, you should definitely try the “Basta!” try.
