Tasting note
Dense ruby red color. A mixture of dried herbs, ripe amarena cherries and some sweet lingonberry jam flows into the nose. On the palate, there is fine tannin combined with a strong body and ripe fruit. A very balanced cuvée, which builds up pressure on the palate and the aromas persist in a very nuanced way. The aging in French barriques is very well dosed and the finish is very long.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The perfect drinking temperature for the red wine is a slightly chilled 17°-19° C. The following period is the ideal enjoyment phase of this wine: Optimally between the fourth and eighth. Flaschenpost team tip: Goes well with ribeye steak, Gruyère burgers and red meat.
Vinification
Mash fermentation takes about three weeks and aging in French barriques takes 12 months.
