About the wine
The winery is located about 15 kilometers from the World Heritage city of Evora. From 1998, the von Blanckart family built up the estate before it became the property of the French Pinault wine family. Under the direction of Paulo Laureano, one of Portugal's most respected oenologists, the vineyard area is being carefully expanded and the range is constantly being adapted to growing national and international quality requirements. German wine specialist Carsten Heinemeyer acts as consultant.

Tasting note
Intense aroma of wild berries. On the palate, juicy and spicy notes with hints of dark chocolate.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with hearty meats, game.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand and thoroughly sorted for 10-14 days of maceration. The wine is then aged in barrels for 18 months.
