About the wine
The origins of the Pecchenino winery go back to the 18th century. It has always been owned by the family and is always passed on from father to offspring. Since 1987, it has been owned by brothers Orlando and Attila Pecchenino. The winery is located south of Barolo and comprises 26 ha of vineyards around their manor house in Dogliani, and they also own a 3-hectare farm in Monforte d'Alba where they cultivate the vines for their Barolos and press the young wine at prime locations.

Das Bouquet des Barolo San Giuseppe DOCG von Anis spielt virtuos mit Ihrem Geruchssinn. Danach überzeugen blumige Nuancen von Rosen und Kirsche resolut und bewusst Ihre Geschmackssinne. Kräftiger Körper und hervorstechende Säure ergeben den fruchtigen Rotwein, welcher kräftig mit dominanten Gerbstoffen im Mund jede Menge Charakter und Klasse zeigt.

Goes well with various meat dishes, truffle dishes and cheese
Vinification
Temperature-controlled mash fermentation for 20 days. The wine is aged in oak barrels for 24 months.
