Tasting note
A Barolo for special moments. Intense garnet red with orange reflections. On the nose, complex notes of dried fruit, leather, tobacco, spices and a hint of undergrowth. Powerful, dense and concentrated on the palate, with ripe tannins and a long, spicy finish. Great aging potential — already impressive, even greater in a few years.
Culinary recommendation
Unsere Empfehlung: Der Rotwein schmeckt am besten bei leicht gekühlten 18°-20°C. Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Barolo Riserva DOCG passt hervorragend zu Prosciutto, Pizza und Burrata.
Vinification
Only vinified in top years. Long fermentation followed by at least 5 years of aging — partly in wooden barrels, partly in bottles. Complexly matured and profound.
