Tasting note
Complex and elegant bouquet with notes of red wild berries, violets, dried rose petals and fine spices. On the palate, it is silky and precise, with ripe tannins, mineral freshness and a long-lasting balsamic finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with truffle dishes, braised game, ossobuco or aged hard cheeses such as Parmigiano Reggiano.
Vinification
Hand harvest of Nebbiolo grapes from the Monvigliero vineyard in Verduno. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, it is aged for a long time in large oak barrels (botti grandi) for about 30 months, followed by a period of rest in the bottle.
